Mommy & Daddy came home !

The next day was Easter Sunday -

Even though Gramma and Pop-pop had to leave, we still had some more fun. I found a truck easter basket that had a big egg in it - I bet I can't eat what's inside - that is always for the adults! Mommy got out last years frog basket so I could put some eggs in it - it was more fun playing with the grass :)

Then I went egg hunting, TWICE! I found eggs all around my house;

then Gramma took me outside, and I found more ! (I really think they were the same ones that I found in the house that I got at the hunt last weekend, too. But I won't say anything - cuz I like to find them!)

P.S: We had a wonderful week with Little Man A - I have been back in CA for 24 hrs and I miss his laugh when I chase him around the room, his smile when I go to get him out of his crib and he stretches his arm out to me, he way he runs behind the recliner like he is hiding on me and stands perfectly still till I get to him and he laughs some more. I love this little boy so much it hurts! Don't worry A - some day Gramma will live right next door so we can be together everyday :) Gramma LOVE YOU!

So does Pop-pop :)

Gramma and Pop-pop clean up from our messy week of fun; got some groceries and after several calls from Mommy and Daddy telling us about their delays, they finally arrived at the airport :)

Gramma took me to meet them (in my pjs :) at the airport! I seen the biggest airplanes - ever!

But I especially was glad to see Mommy and Daddy - I really missed them :)

Day 7 -Part 2 - My garden!

Naps over :)  Come on Pop-pop and Gramma - let's start the garden!  Catch me :)

Gramma, this dirt is fun to touch - I can help, too :)

Look the dirt can fly -
OOPPS! the dirt has to stay in the box - but this is funner :)

Gramma let me get in the garden and play with this
wet gooey, muddy dirt - ooooohhh, it's cold :)
See Pop-pop, we emptied all the dirt in the garden box -

     YYYEEEEEeEEEEEE :)
Gramma is giving me a ride on the empty
bag - I wonder if she can pull me all the way
up the hill?

It's OK Gramma - this is a BIG hill :)  I'm a big boy - I can walk.

WOW - this garden stuff is fun! Thanks Pop-pop and Gramma  - I had fun :)

Mommy and Daddy come home tomorrow :) :)

Day 7 - part 1 - Chuck-E-Cheese!!

We did it! we went to Chuck-E-Cheese :) :)  it was really loud and lots of kids running around; but Pop-pop, Gramma and me had fun! First we walked around and checked out the big kids games, while Gramma ordered us pizza.

Then Gramma insisted I get on some of those moving things -

you know, like cars that had a fake Chuckie sitting in the seat next to me;
and a bulldozer that looked really neat until she tried to put me in it with this Handy Bob looking at me;

then she wanted me to go down the slide,
put she couldn't come with me - so I was not thrilled when she slide me down - but I'm OK!

Our pizza came - it was really GOOD!
Gramma got me a cup with Chuck-E-Cheese that has a straw!

This was a fun day! I can't wait to see what Gramma and
Pop-pop have in store for me after my nap :)

Day 6 - vacationing with Gramma and Pop-pop

Gramma and I go into Mommy and Daddy's room to watch our morning shows - a little of Pooh and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  I start playing on the bed - Gramma and I are having fun - we laugh a lot - she thinks I am funny :)

OOOOPS! I threw myself back and flipped over the side of the bed before Gramma could catch me - she really needs to be faster! I'm OK - but it really scared  the shit out of me!

Pop-pop comes upstairs - really I'm OK!  let's go play in the living room.

This place is a mess; won't Mommy be surprised; especially the tent Gramma and I made with the couch and table! but we're having fun :)  OK - that's enough hide-n-seek.

We're doing good - let's go out to the store and check out Chuck-E-Cheese for lunch!

Well - we got some snaps for my bibs (so I don't pull them off all the time); and a light for outside on the porch.  Chuck-E-Cheese was way to crowded - we couldn't even find a parking place - Pop-pop said we would go after my morning nap tomorrow (if I decide to take one:).

That's OK - Let's go home and have lunch - and play!

Gramma  puts me in  my crib for a afternoon nap after play and lunch - but really I don't think I want too! so I'll just play here for a while - Oh, damn, I shouldn't have thrown my paci, "Jeffery" blanket out of my crib - I really need them to sleep - here comes Gramma! she'll give them back to me :) maybe I could talk her into letting me skip this nap - we took a long morning nap - that should be enough for the day!

After two times, I finally  talked Gramma into letting me get up -  go play downstairs!  Pop-pop has 101 Dalmatians on for me - that's a lot of puppies!

After the movie -  Gramma and I are laughing- she chases me and I hide on her - she thinks I am cute :)

Pop-pop and I play in my room while Gramma makes dinner for us - Uh-Oh :) Pop-pop is sitting in the seat to feed me tonight - this is going to be fun!  Gramma made chicken nuggets - she's trying to disguise the carrots - there's some rice, banana pudding for dessert; crackers

with spread cheese - I kind of getting tired, so I am not sure what I want. Gramma wants to be sure I eat enough, so she gives Pop-pop some of that good yogurt stuff!

I am really trying to feed myself :) this spoon thing
can be difficult - maybe I'll try to drink my yogurt :)

Pop-pop pours it onto my spoon - that makes it easier - he's funny :)

This has been another fun-filled day with Pop-pop and Gramma!
I wonder if they are getting tired? well, more fun again tomorrow!
Mommy and Daddy will be home in two more days :)

Day 5 - Gramma & Pop-pop are still here!

We all get up this morning - Gramma goes for the cuddling this morning :)  Pop-pop gets breakfast ready - ummmm good! a little of everything and of course me banana.

Here we go in the truck - first stop is Office
Depot; then Bed BAth & Beyond (Pop-pop is
still looking for a shamrock cookie cutter - I
think he is too late :); then to Toy-R-Us - my
favorite store!

Final stop is Lowe's for stuff to start my garden - seeds (more),
Soil and top soil ~ this should be enough!

Gramma got us some strawberries for the garden - these are going to taste good!

Wow! this is a lot of dirt - it is going to be
fun to play in - hope Gramma and Pop-pop
let me help :)

This was a long day - early to bed tonight - all this shopping has tired me out. Hope the wind stops so we can start the garden tomorrow.

Wonder what will happen on day 6!

Day 4 - What are we going to do today?

It's tuesday already! Pop-pop let's Gramma sleep so this will be fun this morning - he doesn't know about the sippy cup of milk and cuddling - I just get to drink it while he gets some breakfast ready. (I won't lose it Mommy - I promise :).

Pop-pop makes some pancakes - they are tiny so I can have a whole one - he wants to put syrup on it - but it's too sticky - I don't like sticky! I glad he remembers my banana!
Gramma comes out to the kitchen and saves me!
Time to watch Pooh & Tigger in Mommy and Daddy's bed ~ Gramma and I cuddle. Well I think she really falls asleep, but she is a soft pillow to lean against. I'll just do some exercise while I'm here - I wonder if Mommy let's me do this?

Ok time to see what it's like outside.  Maybe Gramma will
take Maggie and me for a walk - I keep taking my coat and
Maggie's leash to her - yeah! here we go!

That was a nice walk - Maggie liked it too.

More playing while Gramma and Pop-pop make us something to eat - finally time for dinner.  MMMMMMM! Macaroni and cheese with hot dogs!  fun with Pop-pop feeding me :)

Day 3 - spending time with Pop-pop & Gramma

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Another day with Little Man A - Gramma remembered to make the sippy cup the night before - A wants something immediately - cuddling is a good way to start the day! What to do today -

This is starting out to be a lazy day - "Mickey Mouse Club" sounds good.

Play time!! Gramma brought a big green ball to play with!  Wow - it gets big!
and I can bounce on it like Tigger!

Wow ~ playtime is tiring!

Let's go outside and see what the weather is like.

It's mail call - the mail lady even handed it to me (well gramma was holding me up to her)!
I think the mail lady likes me ~ she thinks I'm cute - oh yeah, everyone does!

Mommy called all the way from the Caribbean Islands! She sounds like she is having fun - I know I am!!! Watching Gramma and Pop-pop give me everything!!

Bath time :)  Pop-pop is helping - we are throwing water - boy-oh-boy, will mommy be surprised!

Pop-pop makes my bottle of milk while Gramma gets me dressed for  bed - I am really tired out - finally my bottle - oops #3 - Pop-pop didn't put the top on tight! Thank goodness Gramma checked it!

Another day over ~ more fun tomorrow with Pop-pop and Gramma!

Day 2 - Gramma & Pop-pop sitting!

Sunday - what should we do today?

Start our day at 7 am sharp! today we are going to remember the sippy cup and cuddle time!

What a blast - running around listening to me giggle - Gramma has missed that so much; giggling is a beautiful sound!

Playing with Pop-pop - did he fall asleep again :) no, he's just looking at how the train goes around!

It is 9:00 am already - we'll try for a morning nap; Mommy says they may not happen. Piece a cake! I went right to sleep - I think Pop-pop and Gramma willl take a nap, too!

Un-Oh! 11:45 am - goof #2 - we slept too long! and now it's time for the Easter Egg Hunt - we can't miss this! hurry up and  get everyone dressed; grab a snack (we won't tell Mommy) and buckle up in the car seat -

There's the Easter Bunny - line is way too long to see the hairy guy; we'll just grab a
bag (gramma thought they were going to be baskets) and start collecting eggs - this is more like Halloween.  Candy in every egg - that will be for gramma.

Seeing as we forgot the stroller - let's borrow a Blooms cart - it's got a car attached - way cuter than a stroller!

There' a clown - wonder if he/she will make me a balloon doggy -
I signed Please - I got one :)

Ok this is enough of the egg hunt - we head home to play outside for a while; have a little more of a snack and play with (now empty) easter eggs.

Dinner, bath, bedtime - went routinely - whew made it through the another day!

Tomorrows another day with Gramma & Pop-pop!

Day 1 - of Vacation with Pop-pop & Gramma

Here we are the first day of our watch of Little Man A - how hard can this be! two adults vs one

15 month old!

Pop-pop takes Mommy and Daddy to the airport at 5:00 am and comes back to house to await our little one to begin our week together - 7 am right on the button - he let's us know it's time to get up! Look in the instruction book for ideas for breakfast.

Not too hard - Mommy left instructions! then it's play time!!! oops! missed the milk in a sippy cup and cuddle time before breakfast... goof #1.

Let's go outside and play with bubbles! Thousands of bubbles - "let me:)" See I can run and make bubbles, too!

After snack - it's time to read the newspaper

(keeping to Mommy and Daddy's routine:)

Wow - we did it! made it through day 1 without too much trouble!  Can't  believe how much one little boy can eat in one day - Gramma must read the instruction booklet for homework.

See you tomorrow:)

We're Going To Atlanta!!!!

I can't believe after all of the planning, grant writing, prepping students and endless hours of building Awesome-O (robot) that we won the 2008 San Diego F.I.R.S.T. Robotic Rookie All Star Award! This is a huge honor and a privilege as well as a very competitive spot when we arrive in Atlanta April 16 - 19th. WE have so much to do to get ready - airfare, hotels, shipping our supplies, community service - promoting FIRST, raising funds - this endeavor will take about $1,000/person; we have to have parent meetings every week and more fundraising along with being sure our students show their best side, especially to city and school officials and the media! We are so Thankful to Ethertronics from San Diego, CA for paying our registration fees into the 2008 National Competition!

Happy 104th Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Happy 104th Birthday
Dr. Seuss: March 2

http://www.gpschools.org/ci/ce/elem/holidays/drseuss.htm

Theodor Geial or better known as Dr. Seuss Dr. Seuss was born Theodor Geisel in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1904. After attending Dartmouth College and Oxford University, he began a career in advertising. In 1957, Seuss's The Cat in the Hat became the prototype for one of Random House's best-selling series - Beginner Books. This popular series combines engaging stories with outrageous illustrations and playful sounds to teach basic reading skills."
A person's a person, no matter how small!" Theodor Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss, would say. "Children want the same things we want. To laugh, to be challenged, to be entertained, and delighted."

To celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday, read one of his books to your child, niece, nephew, neighbor or grab a kid from the street (with permission, Please!)

ROBOTIC - robotic - ROBOTIC - robotic!

My life over the last few months (more the last several weeks), has been totally engulfed with Robotics. I have truly enjoyed it.
Right now it is 12:55 AM PST (in California), and I am not in my nice warm bed. No...I am in the office putting together a booklet for ROBOTICS.
A few hours before this, I:
1. made a flag banner (black & white checker)
2. made/printed brochures
3. made/sewed capes
4. sewed capes onto t-shirts
5. made a bag for buttons to fit into basket to match banner

Tomorrow we are doing a practice run, setting up our pit for next weekends event. The district's communications manager invited the media. It will be interesting to see how many district and city representatives will be there!

Just to give you a little taste of our booklet:
